Pastor Kelvin Okafor, the General Overseer of an Abuja-based church, abandons his wife and four children to secretly marry the church’s women’s leader in an Owerri hotel.
The head of Jesus Divine Solution and Deliverance Outreach on Arab Road in Abuja is accused of abandoning his wife of 17 years, Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor, for a divorcee, Mrs. Chinenye Jessica Nwaneri.
The traditional marriage happened at a hotel in Owerri, Imo State, on Saturday, June 22, to avoid media backlash since Pastor Okafor is still legally married to his first wife.
According to sources, Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor is unaware that her legally married husband has broken his vows to be with another woman.
Additionally, Pastor Okafor’s new wife, who is an Ordained Elder of the church, is fully aware that he is still legally married to Mrs. Chidiebere.
Many have since condemned the preacher for acting against the holy scripture and preaches and also betraying his wife who stood by him when he had nothing.
