Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, also known as Phyno, a Nigerian musician, has broken his silence on claims of sickle cell anaemia.
His follower had rushed to Twitter to show her admiration for him. According to the fan, she fell in love with the rapper after learning he had sickle cell disease. The fan stated:
“Since I heard Phyno has sickle cell, the love tripled, I pray God grants him the strength to keep fighting.”
Phyno responded by dismissing the claim but offering his deepest prayers to those suffering from the illness. In response, he tweeted:
“Lol . No I’m not sickle cell. Love to everyone fighting it tho.”
