A Nigerian lady has shared a funny incident involving her cousin and a girl he met in church, sparking reactions online.
In a post on her X handle, @oma22k, she recounted how her cousin noticed a girl during offering time who didn’t contribute anything. Moved by the moment, he reportedly dipped his hand into his pocket and gave her ₦2,000.
However, what happened next surprised him. After receiving the money, the girl calmly took out ₦200 from her own bag and dropped it as her offering.
According to the post, the cousin was left amused, with the user joking that “my guy sponsored both the blessing and her transport home.”
