A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after sharing an unexpected twist she encountered upon returning from leave at work.
The woman, identified as @BridgetUrenna on X (formerly Twitter), explained that she had been away from work for 10 days before her company hired a new manager.
During her break, colleagues frequently updated her about the manager, describing him as handsome, youthful, and very friendly.
However, she paid little attention, choosing instead to enjoy her leave while planning to resume work the following week.
On returning to the office, she was left stunned when she discovered that the company’s new manager was actually her former junior colleague from university.
According to her, both of them reportedly stared at each other in shock for several minutes before he held her hand and led her straight to his office.
The revelation quickly sparked humorous and curious reactions online, with many social media users speculating about what happened next.
