Tension has erupted online after a young woman publicly accused a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God of engaging in an inappropriate sexual relationship with her and allegedly attempting to sexually assault her.
The disturbing accusation surfaced in a viral video, where the woman confronted the pastor and recounted her experience in detail.
According to her, the incident allegedly occurred when she visited the pastor’s residence to deliver food. She claimed that what began as a routine visit quickly turned troubling after the pastor reportedly made unwanted advances toward her despite her repeated refusals.
The woman alleged that the pastor ignored her resistance and attempted to force himself on her.
In her words:
“I knew that this man was trying something again. And I gave excuse and you said you will wait for me to finish whatever I was doing and get you the pounded yam and egusi. I brought it to you in your place in the upper room. You started asking me questions and before I knew it, you were all over me.
Then you were trying to rape me and I kept closing my legs and telling you no. You did it to the extent that you now stopped and now said okay, you now asked me to give you head, you don’t remember?”
During the confrontation, the pastor attempted to interrupt her account, saying:
“Let me ask her a question….”
The allegations have since triggered intense reactions on social media, with many calling for a full investigation into the claims and demanding accountability. Others have urged caution, emphasizing the importance of due process while the matter is being addressed.
