A Nigerian lady has shared a shocking account of how a family of five was deported from the United Kingdom after a chain of unexpected events turned their relocation dream into a nightmare.
According to her narration, the family sold all their properties and even borrowed ₦20 million to relocate abroad in search of a better life.
In her words:
“They sold everything they had and even borrowed money just to travel. The plan was for both husband and wife to work together and pay back their debts.”
However, things reportedly took a dramatic turn when the wife, who was the primary visa holder, allegedly removed her husband from her visa arrangement, placing him at risk of deportation.
In retaliation, the husband reportedly disclosed a hidden secret to his lawyer — that one of the children they travelled with was not biologically theirs and that no legal adoption documents existed.
“The husband told his lawyer that one of the children didn’t belong to them and that there were no proper adoption papers. That was where everything scattered,” she revealed.
Authorities were said to have launched an investigation, including DNA testing, which confirmed the child was not legally theirs.
Despite efforts to address the matter, the situation reportedly spiraled beyond control, resulting in the deportation of the entire family.
The incident has since triggered widespread reactions online, with many social media users expressing mixed emotions over the outcome.
One user wrote:
“Everybody lost in the end. Unforgiveness ruin things😳.”
Another added:
“This story get lesson well well.”
The story has stirred conversations online, with many highlighting how anger, desperation, and poor decisions can sometimes lead to devastating and irreversible consequences.
