Nigerian Lady Laments After Paying ₦30,000 for Online Dress Since February Without Delivery

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media in frustration after allegedly paying ₦30,000 for a dress ordered online in February 2025 but, months later, has yet to receive the item.

The lady, identified on X as @roddybabyyyy, revealed that she made payment for the dress on February 10, 2025, with hopes of receiving it promptly.

According to her, despite several attempts to contact the vendor for updates, she has received neither the dress nor any clear communication regarding her order.

Expressing her disappointment, she disclosed that she had initially planned to publicly call out the vendor on TikTok, but reconsidered after discovering that the seller is preparing for a store opening scheduled for May 3.

In her words:

“I was even planning to drag her on TikTok this week, but I just saw she’s doing store opening on May 3rd. At this point, I might just walk into that store and collect my 30k myself. Because if not, you people will see my video soon.”

Her post has since sparked widespread reactions, with many users sharing similar experiences involving online shopping disappointments and vendor scams.
