A Nigerian man identified as @Ayo_musco on X (formerly Twitter) has stirred reactions online after sharing his experience with a lady he had been in the “talking stage” with for about a month.
According to him, they first met in January and had been chatting consistently since then. To celebrate her birthday, he sent her a generous gift of ₦300,000 and shared the receipt as proof.
However, things quickly went left after the lady responded in a way he didn’t expect.
In a screenshot he posted, the lady—whose identity remains undisclosed—questioned the amount he sent, asking why he couldn’t increase it to ₦500,000 instead.
“Well, I appreciate you though but why can’t you wrap it around N500k. Why sending 300k lol”
Her response didn’t sit well with him, and instead of engaging further, he chose to block her.
