Social media has been abuzz with rumors of a physical confrontation between Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy and DJ Tunez, a close associate of Wizkid.
According to an X user, @Funkhy_DC, who claimed to have witnessed the incident, DJ Tunez arrived at the event before Burna Boy. Approximately ten minutes after Burna Boy’s arrival, a heated argument reportedly broke out, culminating in Burna Boy pushing DJ Tunez.
The situation escalated when DJ Tunez retaliated by punching Burna Boy in the mouth. The X user further narrated, “Manny rushed Burna into his car, but unfortunately Burna came with like 10 bouncers. They all turned back and ganged up on Tunez.”
This is not the first time Burna Boy has been involved in a controversial incident. In 2025, he faced backlash after removing a fan from his Denver concert for sleeping. He later apologized, calling it a “slip of tongue.” The incident negatively impacted his ticket sales, leading to the cancellation of several shows on his NSOW Tour, including dates in Minneapolis and Chicago.
