A heartbreaking situation involving a Nigerian woman has sparked widespread concern online after she reportedly lost her sight just weeks after giving birth.
According to a viral TikTok post shared by @king-of-reality02, the woman developed complications two weeks after welcoming her baby, which allegedly led to blindness caused by a brain tumor.
In the emotional video, the new mother is seen being assisted out of a vehicle before being wheeled into a hospital in a wheelchair, highlighting the severity of her condition.
The TikToker revealed that doctors have recommended urgent surgery, which is estimated to cost ₦20 million. A public appeal was made to help raise funds for the life-saving procedure.
“We cannot do this alone. Imagine holding your newborn while losing your sight. Imagine fighting for your life when you should be celebrating it,” the post read.
