A Nigerian woman has sparked heated debate online after sharing her blunt views on marriage, claiming that suitable husbands are becoming increasingly scarce.
In a video currently making the rounds on social media, the lady urged women who genuinely desire marriage to reassess their standards, arguing that being a second wife is no longer something to automatically dismiss.
According to her, men who are truly ready for marriage are few, and women who want to settle down should not hesitate if a responsible man proposes—even if it means becoming a second wife.
Sharing her thoughts in a mix of humour and seriousness, she said:
“Ladies, husband no dey again o. Husband no dey anywhere. If you see person wey wan make you second wife, rush am o. If you see any good man, better man wey wan make you second wife, rush am oo. Husband no dey again oo. I say make I tell una. Unless you no wan marry. Husband don scarce.”
Her comments have since divided opinions online, with some agreeing that marriage realities have changed, while others strongly rejected the idea, insisting that being a second wife should never be encouraged.
