A woman has taken to social media to recount a heartbreaking experience after a generous act toward her former boyfriend ended in deep betrayal.
According to her, she once approached her wealthy uncle for financial support to grow her business. The uncle reportedly offered her a blank cheque, allowing her to write any amount she needed. However, instead of using the money for herself, she chose to help her then-boyfriend, believing they were building a future together.
“If you ever feel stupid, just know that my rich big uncle once gave me a blank cheque to write any amount for my business,” she said. “But I told him to give it to my boyfriend because we were planning to get married, and I felt he needed financial stability.”
She explained that she trusted her boyfriend completely and never imagined he would betray her kindness.
“When he got the money, he was very appreciative,” she added. “But about six months later, he got another woman pregnant and even proposed to her. He later told me it was a mistake.”
