A NIGERIA TO FIGHT FOR

If you have not discovered it from my posts, I am saying it expressly now. I have decided to fight for the Nigeria of my dreams. I have decided to fight everyone and everything until I achieve that dream. I don’t care who you are – officer, judge or law maker. I am prepared to fight it out with you.

I know that I will always love you, no matter what. I am therefore prepared to fight for what I believe is right despite your displeasure. I promise you that I will never harbor malice against you. You are you and I am me. We have different visions. What we see is what determines our actions.

Majority of Nigerians would love to see a better country. Even those who are determined to flee from it would rather stay if they are guaranteed a better life that is anchored upon respect for who they are and their right to pursue their happiness under fair and fairly administered laws and rules.

I therefore do not see the reason in our choosing to flee the country or take solace in the nurture of a dream of a homeland away from Nigeria. It is better that we unite to chase away those who profit from our pain and sustain their position by the divisions that they bequeath us.

Those people are so entrenched in the weaknesses of our minds that we are certain to find them in control wherever we flee to. If we cannot defeat them in Nigeria, we cannot defeat them in Arewa land, Oduduwa land or Biafra. They will play the same game of stoking the fire of primordial differences to keep us divided and sustain their control.

If we can defeat them outside of Nigeria, we can defeat them inside of Nigeria. It is therefore better to expend that energy to fight for a better Nigeria. Fighting for Nigeria does not stop you from doing what is reasonable and right within the laws of the country to uplift any part of the country that you feel attached to. Let us commit to building up Nigeria.

A new Nigeria is POssible.
