A Nigerian man has expressed concern after his family was inside his car when a cow that was purportedly owned by a Fulani herder attacked and seriously damaged it.
In an article posted on social media site X (formerly Twitter), the man bemoaned the incident and said that the injured cow received more attention than he and his family did.
The video was posted by user @ChuksEricE and features the cow’s lifeless body, which is thought to have died after the collision, as well as a video of the visibly shaken man bemoaning the incident.
“Guys, look at what Aboki cow did to my vehicle this morning. God saved my life and my family. Look at the damage,” he said, panning the camera to show the wrecked vehicle and his family, who appeared unharmed.
He also mentioned that he had sensed something bad was going to happen, as he felt uneasy during the night.
As the video gained traction online, it drew numerous reactions from concerned Nigerians who took to the comment section to share their thoughts and outrage.
