After his girlfriend asked for the same model of iPhone 16, a Nigerian man allegedly robbed his girlfriend’s friend to take the device.
A post about this incident was made on the well-known social media site X, which was once Twitter.
In the video that user @PH_Socials posted, a woman describes her unsettling encounter with her boyfriend.
She clarified that she asked her boyfriend to buy her an iPhone 16 when it was released.
She encouraged him, like other men, to find the money, even though he first claimed he could not afford it.
After a few days, he came back with a phone and handed it to her. The phone, she later learned, actually belonged to her friend, whose hostel had been broken into.
The phone was password-protected when it arrived. When her friend tried to unlock it, the phone opened instantly, but she was unable to do so.
She stated: “My friend said some guys came to her house yesterday, robbed and took her iPhone 16. I tried many passwords, it didn’t open, but when my friend tried, it unlocked.”
