A Nigerian entrepreneur has taken to social media to share her heartbreak after learning that her sales representative had been stealing products from her company for personal use and transferring sizable sums of money into a personal account.
The video, which was uploaded to TikTok, showed the upset business owner confronting the sales representative about the financial mismanagement.
In the video, the businesswoman confronted the employee, asking how the money had been going missing even though she had been put in charge of operations.
The sales representative denied any misconduct, saying she only made withdrawals from the account and that she had a valid reason, but her boss did not believe it.
The sales representative was ultimately found to be guilty of the accusations following a heated exchange. She had also taken a number of items from the store for her own use, according to additional disclosures.
