Peter Obi’s Poor Attendance At The Kogi Rally Mocked By Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former aide to the president, made fun of Peter Obi, the candidate for president of the Labour Party (LP), for having few supporters show up for the party’s rally on Tuesday in Kogi State.

The Kogi stadium was empty because there were so few attendees for the event that one could reportedly count them, in contrast to the huge turnout seen in other states.

While some online images of the stadium appeared to show it to be sparse, pictures posted to Peter Obi’s Twitter page revealed otherwise.

Omokri claimed that fewer than 300 people attended Obi’s Kogi rally in response to the development in a tweet sent on Thursday via his Twitter account.

The contentious author claimed that despite Kogi’s proximity to Anambra State, where Obi served as governor for eight years, he was unable to fill the rally’s venue. Less than 300 people attended Peter Obi’s rally in Kogi, he wrote.

Consider that Kogi and Anambra share borders and that Obi ruled Anambra for eight years to put this in perspective. So continue insulting people and using extortionists who pose as “investigative journalists.”
