In Ogun State, the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) recovered satellite decoders, Gotv boxes, and remote controls suspected of being stolen.
This was revealed in a press release issued on Tuesday by So-Safe Corps spokesperson Moruf Yusuf.
According to the statement, the Coker-Ibogun Area Command Officers of the Corps, led by ACC Sanni David, spotted men suspected of being criminals carrying items while on routine patrol along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway in Ilepa Axis in Ifo local government area at around 3pm on Sunday December 4, 2022.
He also revealed that the men detained during the patrol were suspected of being members of a robbery syndicate.
“When they saw the So-Safe men, they took to their heels and left the stolen items.”
