Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has talked about a terrifying experience he had in the United States after a stray bullet unexpectedly pierced his hotel room window.
The vocal musician shared the terrifying experience on Instagram, where a video of the bullet us damage was captured.
In the clip, Seun could be heard expressing disbelief and concern over the situation.
“Tell me you’re in America without telling me you’re in America. I’m in my hotel room just chilling and boom,” he said in the video.
The video showed a clear bullet hole in the window, suggesting that the projectile had narrowly missed causing potentially fatal harm. The artist, visibly shaken, used the incident to raise questions about safety and the perception of the West as a haven of order.
