A Nigerian man gave his opinion on how Nigerians can beat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election in an interview with CNN.
In a post on X (previously Twitter), the man described a plan to guarantee accountability and openness throughout the voting process.
He emphasized with passion that Nigerians need to create a structure akin to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He clarified that the electorate should band together to send representatives to each polling station nationwide in order to independently track the election process and record the results.
There should be a designated monitor at each of Nigeria’s 176,848 polling places, he urged.
He asserts that Nigerians can compare their findings with the official INEC results after independently gathering and compiling the results.
In the event that disparities are discovered, he advised people to be ready to demonstrate in the streets.
His words: “One of the ways we can defeat Tinubu in 2027 is to have a similar structure like INEC. Have a representative in each and every polling unit.”
“We have 176,848 polling units in Nigeria. We can have a representative in each polling unit to collect the results and compile them together.”
“Then, be ready for whatever INEC announces at the end of the day.”
“If what INEC announces does not match the results we have collected, then we can hit the streets and give Nigerians the revolution that is desired.”
