
Lagos residents have taken to the streets to express their disapproval of the high fees charged by house agents and the excessive cost of housing in the city.
A post that was made public on the well-known social media site X—formerly known as Twitter—shared this.
The video showed a car passing through a Lagos State location while crammed with protesters.
The goal of the protest was highlighted on a poster that was affixed to the front of the vehicle.
The caption read: “Enough is enough, we say no to overpriced house rents. We say no to housing agents. Agents of darkness.”
As the post made its way online, concerned individuals flooded the comment section to share their thoughts.
