After finding a dead wall gecko inside the puff puff she purchased from a roadside vendor, a Nigerian woman has issued a warning.
This was posted on X, the former name for Twitter, where a number of women shared how shocked and incredulous they were by the unsettling discovery.
A closer examination of the puff puff showed that the wall gecko’s entire body was fried whole, revealing both its head and body.
Luckily, before trying to eat the puff puff, the woman carefully examined it.
As the post went viral, worried people poured their opinions and reactions to the disturbing revelation into the comment section.
