A CCTV recording has exposed a Nigerian man, Okoli Chinecherem, for assaulting a 5-year-old child who was sent on an errand by a parent.
The unsettling event was made public in a post on the well-known social media site X (formerly Twitter).
The post claims that the act was carried out by Chinecherem, who was seen on camera escorting the child to a remote area.
The child’s family, upon noticing something was wrong, raised an alarm. He was identified as the culprit after they examined the CCTV footage.
In the video, Chinecherem can be seen detailing his actions, while the footage also captures the moment he lured the child away.
As the video circulated online, outraged individuals flooded the comment section, condemning the act and demanding justice.
