The story of how a Nigerian woman became pregnant by her account officer, whom she first contacted to request her BVN, has stunned the internet.
She described the unexpected series of events that led to her current predicament in the post, which was posted on her TikTok page.
She had to open an account to receive her government salary during her NYSC service, but she could not remember her BVN, she explained in her post.
In order to get the contact information of her account officer, a bank manager, she contacted a friend who had previously helped her with school fee payments.
She was pleasantly surprised by the account officer’s voice when she called him to request her BVN.
She admitted to being attracted to him right away but controlling her emotions.
She explained it as follows:
“I don’t know if the title should be ‘How I Got Married to My Account Officer.’ Basically, it was during my NYSC. My BVN was required to open an account while I was at camp. As you all know, during NYSC, we need to open an account for the government to pay our salary.”
I had to open an account but did not have my BVN, so I recalled that I had a bank friend who had helped me pay for my school fees back in the day. “Please, can I get my BVN?” I called him and asked. I can’t remember it.’”
He offered to give me my account officer’s number, which is equivalent to that of a bank manager. He therefore provided me with my account officer’s number so that I could obtain my BVN from him.
“I called him and told him that I truly needed my BVN and that I had obtained his number from this person. He promised to text me once he got it for me.
“I was immediately struck by how pleasant his voice was when I first heard it on the phone. I wanted to go crazy. In my mind, I was thinking, ‘Can I keep talking to him?’”
