Following the sharing of a picture from the market featuring yam slices for sale, some Nigerians have responded in different ways.
Nigerians have voiced their displeasure over the country’s current economic crisis and the rise in commodity prices.
In a new development, a chef identified as Amaka posted a photo of yam slices displayed in a market on Thursday, June 20, 2024, which were put up for sale.
“As seen in the market today. N500 each,” she wrote.
In response to the report, some X users said that while Nigerians’ resolve is admirable, it also shows that they are unwilling to hold the government responsible.
