A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing a shocking experience that allegedly happened shortly after she was dismissed from her job.
In a post shared on X, the user identified as @miz_iyik said she was fired from her workplace at about 9:03 a.m., although she did not disclose the reason for her dismissal.
According to her, barely minutes after she was sacked, a man arrived at the office to take over her position. She said people around began laughing when they realised the new staff member was her father.
The lady explained that the man was the same father who allegedly disappeared from her life 22 years ago and whom her mother had told her was dead.
“At 9:18 a.m., everyone started laughing. Not because he was funny. Because he was my father. The same father who disappeared twenty-two years ago. The same father my mother told me was dead,” she wrote.
She added that the man walked past her, sat at her desk and introduced himself as the company’s new regional director.
According to her, colleagues did not understand why she suddenly became speechless and began shaking.
“He walked straight past me, sat at my desk, and introduced himself as the company’s new regional director. Nobody understood why I couldn’t speak. Nobody understood why my hands were shaking,” she added.
The post has since stirred emotional reactions online, with many social media users expressing shock over the alleged reunion.
