A Nigerian lady’s story about leaving her talking stage stranded at a restaurant has gone viral online, sparking mixed reactions.
The lady, identified as @freakin_sniw on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that a man who had been persistently asking her out finally took her to an expensive restaurant for a date.
According to her, the man ordered food and drinks worth ₦30,000, while her own order amounted to ₦100,000.
However, things took a surprising turn when the bill arrived.
She claimed the man told her he was having “minor bank issues” and asked her to cover the bill, promising to transfer the money back later.
“He said he was having minor bank issues that I should sort the bill and he will transfer the money back to me later,” she wrote.
Rather than agreeing, the lady said she quietly booked a ride and left him at the restaurant.
Narrating what happened next, she added:
“Well, I booked my ride and left him there cos what do you mean you have bank issues. He called me this morning to crash out on how heartless and evil I was. I apologized and asked him if we could hang out again—HE BLOCKED ME 😭.”
