A lady has shared her heartbreak online after discovering a suspicious conversation between her husband and another woman on his phone.
The woman, known as @TheKingDaughtta on X (formerly Twitter), explained that she came across the chat while trying to assist her husband with something on his phone.
According to her, the conversation caught her attention when she saw a message where her husband told the woman he was surprised she was still single. The statement immediately made her uncomfortable, as she questioned why a married man would make such a remark to another woman.
“Then I saw a message where he said ‘I’m surprised you are still single’. That statement alone shook me, because how does a married man say that to another woman?” she wrote.
Curious and unsettled, she decided to scroll further up the conversation. While doing so, she reportedly discovered an older message containing a lingerie photo the woman had sent, which dated back to a time before she and her husband got married.
The discovery prompted her to confront him about the conversation and the nature of his relationship with the woman.
According to her post, his initial explanation only deepened her confusion.
“I confronted him calmly, asking why he was talking to this lady and complimenting her like that even before we got together. Guess what he said? ‘Oh she’s my cousin.’ Cousin??? Ah!!! Immediately I thought, is this man into some incest things?” she recounted.
She added that he later changed his story, clarifying that the woman was not actually his cousin but his cousin’s ex-wife’s cousin.
Feeling unsettled by the discovery and the inconsistent explanations, the woman said she decided to leave their home temporarily. She revealed that she packed her belongings and checked into a hotel while she processes everything that happened.
Her story has since sparked conversations online, with many social media users debating whether the husband’s explanation was believable and whether her reaction was justified. 💔📱
