79-Year-Old British Multimillionaire Seeks Young Wife to Produce Male Heir, Internet Reacts

A 79-year-old British multimillionaire, Sir Benjamin Slade, has stirred widespread reactions online after openly announcing that he is searching for a young woman to marry and bear him a son who will inherit his fortune and continue his family lineage.

Sir Slade, a British baronet, is the owner of the historic Maunsel House estate in Somerset. The sprawling property reportedly covers about 1,300 acres and has remained in his family for several generations. Despite his wealth and aristocratic status, Sir Slade currently has no direct male heir to inherit the estate and family title.

According to reports, the elderly aristocrat is seeking a woman in her 20s or 30s who is willing to enter into a marriage arrangement with the primary aim of producing a male child. The proposal reportedly comes with an annual salary of up to £50,000, alongside luxury benefits such as access to a private jet and an opulent lifestyle on his countryside estate.

Sir Slade has been open about his intentions, stating that the arrangement is largely about preserving his bloodline and ensuring that his estate remains within the family.

This is not his first attempt at finding a solution. In 2025, he sparked controversy after stating that he was looking for a “good breeder” to secure his lineage. He has also disclosed that he previously explored surrogacy options abroad, but those efforts did not result in a male heir.

Following his latest announcement, social media users on X (formerly Twitter) reacted with a mix of shock, humour, and criticism. While some questioned the ethics of the arrangement, others responded with jokes and satirical “applications,” quickly turning the story into a viral talking point online.
