Popular TikTok streamer and content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has appealed to his fans and followers for financial assistance after revealing that repairing his damaged Mercedes Benz SUV would cost ₦11 million.
The influencer made the disclosure during a recent live session on TikTok, weeks after he was involved in a controversial road accident that left the luxury vehicle badly damaged and sent him to the hospital.
The crash, which occurred in December 2025, drew nationwide attention as it happened while Peller was live on social media.
“The money is too much” — Peller opens up
Speaking emotionally during the livestream, Peller explained why the car has remained unrepaired, citing the overwhelming cost of fixing it.
“They told me that fixing my car would cost 11 million naira. I haven’t fixed it yet because the money is too much, and I thought maybe my fans who love me can help me out. I never imagined it would cost this much.”
He added that he only recently returned to social media after taking time off to recover from the emotional and financial toll of the incident.
Appeal for support
In a direct appeal to viewers, the TikTok star urged those who were willing and able to assist him financially.
“I just want to be honest with you all. This accident has affected me mentally and financially. If anyone can support me, it will go a long way. I really need your help to get my car back on the road.”
Background to the crash
The accident occurred along the Lekki–Epe Expressway and sparked widespread concern among fans and the general public. Peller had earlier described the crash as deliberate, further fueling online debate.
Authorities, including the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Lagos State Police Command, have since indicated plans to prosecute him for reckless and distracted driving.
Peller has also issued public apologies to Jarvis’ family and Nigerians at large, as reactions to his crowdfunding appeal continue to trend across social media platforms.
