Nigerian Man Reacts as Eyewitness Shares Details of Anthony Joshua’s Ogun Crash

A Nigerian man has reacted strongly to the car crash involving former heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, which occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.

Earlier, Visiotalks reported that the incident happened on December 29, 2025, shortly after Joshua’s recent victory over YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. The tragic accident claimed the lives of Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele, both described as close friends and members of Joshua’s team.

Anthony Joshua, who was seated in the back of the vehicle at the time of the crash, reportedly sustained minor injuries and was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.

Reacting to the incident, an X (formerly Twitter) user identified as @lollypezzle reposted a video from the crash scene and called for accountability. In a tweet that has since garnered over 300,000 views, he criticized the situation and demanded justice, writing:

“Nigerian standard, this vehicle is well parked. The driver who drove Anthony Joshua must not escape justice.”

Meanwhile, another Nigerian man, @deyemidada, claimed to be an eyewitness to the incident. According to him, he was one vehicle behind when the crash occurred.

He disclosed that officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) arrived at the scene within five minutes, running on foot. He added that Anthony Joshua was quickly extracted from the vehicle and that traffic on the expressway was cleared in about 10 minutes.

The incident has continued to spark reactions online, with many Nigerians calling for a thorough investigation and justice for the victims who lost their lives.
