A passenger was arrested after opening an emergency exit door during a flight, causing air to gust inside the cabin before the plane safely landed.
According to CNN, the commercial aircraft was minutes away from landing in South Korea on Friday when a passenger sitting close to the emergency door pulled a lever, opening it with the aircraft about 200 metres (656 feet) above the ground.
Passengers on the Asiana Airlines Airbus A321 plane were unable to prevent the man from opening the door, according to the transport ministry.
According to reports, the culprit who opened the door was apprehended by police, though his motive remains unknown.
