Yul Edochie accused by May’s lawyer of not paying the kids’ tuition.

May Edochie’s legal counsel, Emeka Ugwuonye, claims that her client’s husband, actor Yul Edochie, has stopped providing for their children.

Ugwuonye said in a video that Yul has advised his kids to ask their mother for money support since she makes more than he does.

The lawyer made these statements in response to Nigerians who liken Yul and May’s union to that of Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko.

He explained that, in contrast to Sharia law, which restricts a Muslim man to having four wives, Nwoko made sure he married his wives in accordance with customary law, which allows for multiple marriages. Nwoko, desiring more wives, chose the law that allowed him to marry an unlimited number.

Ugwuonye also claimed that Judy is engaging in a “campaign of calumny and smear” against May, which is defined as making false accusations about someone in order to diminish respect and admiration for them.

He said partly, “Something else you people do not understand but you will understand today. Ned is taking care of all is children, paying their school fees, feeding them. Yul is not doing that. Yul is not supporting his children as we speak, at all. Yul did, in fact, inform his daughter that their mother now earns more money than he does. Can you imagine? So you are going into polygamy and you can’t take care of the children? So please don’t compare the two.”
