In a Twitter post, Nigerian musician Iyanya dragged a social media user who harmed his music career.
Iyanya, who has made significant contributions to the music industry, came across a post by a Twitter user who was mocking a remark made by Ubi Franklin during a show.
Ubi Franklin reportedly praised Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid for their efforts to promote Afrobeats around the world. However, while praising these three artists, he did not forget to mention Iyanya.
A Twitter user who disagreed with Ubi Franklin’s opinion that Iyanya contributed to Afrobeat trashed Ubi Franklin’s comment.
“Ubi Franklin gave a shout out to Davido, Wizkid, Rema, and Burna Boy for what they’re doing for Afrobeats internationally, and he mentioned Iyanya as well,” he wrote.
In response to the Twitter user’s post, “Kukere” hitmaker Iyanya blasted him and stated that only someone who is brainless will question his relevance.
He wrote; “And who are you again? Only a brainless person will try to undermine my contribution to this game till date. You definitely are clueless.”
