A young Nigerian lady has taken social media by storm after revealing that Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, gifted her a $100 bill during a visit to her church.
The lady, identified on TikTok as @sayrah, shared a video showing Rema at her church, surrounded by worshippers. According to her, the singer’s generous gesture happened after a brief exchange between them.
“I said hi to him, he said it back and gave me $100,” she wrote in the caption accompanying the video.
In the comment section, the TikToker further disclosed that the church is Miracle Assembly, located in Benin City, Edo State.
Rema’s appearance and generosity quickly sparked reactions online, with many praising the singer for his humility and kindness.
Notably, this is not the first time the Afrobeats star has shown support for religious and community causes. In 2025, Rema reportedly donated ₦105 million to Christ Embassy Church in Benin, a contribution aimed at supporting infrastructure development and welfare initiatives, including aid for widows.
The incident has further reinforced Rema’s reputation as one of the most philanthropic figures in Nigeria’s music industry.
