Nollywood actress Angela Okorie stirs up controversy by making a scathing comment comparing a man who married someone much older than her to her grandfather, directed at an unnamed person.
The actress said as much in a since-deleted Instagram story post.
According to Angela, the aforementioned individual would not marry a man who was significantly older than her grandfather if Nigeria’s economy was flourishing.
She added that the unidentified person advises Nigerians without advising herself.
Her words: “Nigeria good na him you go marry man wey old pass your grandfather. You won advice Nigerians but you no advice yourself rubbish.”
Many online users speculated in the comment section that she was referring to Regina Daniels, her colleague and the sixth wife of billionaire businessman Ned Nwoko.
It is noteworthy that Regina Daniels publicly advised Nigerians to choose nonviolent protest during the recently finished End Bad Governance demonstration.
