Wunmi, the late singer Mohbad’s wife, sets the record straight after being accused and dragged by her sister Karimot.
It is no secret that since the late musician’s death, allegations have been hurled in all directions.
Concerns about everything from paternity fraud to allegations that his death was not natural had assumed a prominent role.
The sister of Mohbad’s wife, who had been standing up for her, recently went on the internet to disparage and accuse her.
She had stated, among other things, that Wunmi had taken Mohbad’s phone from his mother and would not give it back.
The wife of Mohbad has come forward to declare that she will defend her truth in court rather than on social media.
She added that those who hold her late husband dear shouldn’t let anything tarnish his memories.
Her words read in part …
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for standing by me during this difficult time. As many of you know, I have endured a great deal of despicable and false accusations from various quarters—family, friends, and even strangers.
Despite the pdjn, I have chosen to accept this unfortunate situation as a port of my journey.
I want to make it clear that | will not engage in public debates or attempt to counter the lies being spread about me. My focus will be on defending my truth in the court of law, not on social media. However, I must speak up on behalf of Ilerioluwa, who is no longer here to defend himself.
