Ada Ejiejemba, a Nigerian woman, has recounted her traumatic election day experience in Lagos state.
Ada claimed that her personal hairdresser, with whom she has always been friendly, informed thugs who were assaulting Igbos that she, too, is an Igbo.
She described how, after paying for her services, she gave the woman money to care for her children and shared her food with her, only for the woman to leave a mark on her back by reporting her to thugs.
Ada shared her story on her status, saying the woman referred to her as “Omo Igbo” and watched as the thugs flogged her.
She wrote;
“Aunty Bose! You That Make My Hair, I Share My Food With You While You Make My Hair, I Give You Extra Money For Your Kids After I Pay For Your Service But On Saturday You Pointed At Me To The Thugs Saying “Omo Igbo” You Stood And Watched Them Flog Me! LOL!”
