A woman has publicly appealed for help, revealing that she has endured years of abuse in her marriage but remained silent for the sake of her children.
In a heartfelt statement, she described the suffering as unbearable and expressed that she can no longer continue living under such conditions. She recounted being locked up by her spouse for years, comparing her treatment to that of an animal, and said she felt utterly helpless.
“I want to leave this abusive marriage once and for all. I have been suffering but have been smiling because of my children. You locked me up for years like an animal, saying, ‘Let’s see who will come and save you.’ I need help. I don’t want to die in this marriage,” she pleaded.
The woman explained that her initial decision to stay in the marriage was motivated by a desire to protect her children, but the emotional and physical toll has now become overwhelming.
Her story highlights the ongoing issue of domestic abuse, the urgent need for timely intervention, and the struggles faced by victims trapped in harmful relationships.
