A woman identified as Angelica Ratechi has accused a massage therapist at Sayria Spa Lagos, which is owned by Khloe Abiri, a BBNaija star, of sexually assaulting her.
Angelica claims that the male masseuse was shocked and traumatized after repeatedly “dipping his finger” into her private area.
According to Angelica, the spa owner minimized the gravity of the situation by stating that “these things happen at a massage” when she brought up the incident with Khloe.
Angelica claimed that she was humiliated for going to a spa and received victim-blaming when she went to the police station to report the incident.
Khloe Abiri, however, has responded to the accusations in an official statement.
According to Khloe, Angelica and her sister were given privacy to change and were asked if they were comfortable receiving a massage from a male therapist.
The BBNaija star stated that the accused staff member was suspended immediately and the spa cooperated with authorities from the outset.
The incident has sparked a lot of discussion online, with netizens expressing outrage and disappointment at the spa’s handling of the situation.
