The renowned Africa Arts Entertainments Award (AAEA) has seven nominations for Nigerian Afrobeat artist Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, who is expected to add to his already impressive collection of honors.
The awards aim to recognize and celebrate the achievements of music artists across the African continent.
As Wizkid competes in multiple prestigious categories, including AAEA Continental Artist of the Year and AAEA Best Continental Male Artist, fans of the Grammy-winning artist are giddy with anticipation.
He is also a nominee for Best Continental International Feature for “Work Me Out,” along with accolades for his singles and collaborations, including Continental Album/EP of the Year for his project “S2.” Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hitfor “IDK,” Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for “Money & Love,” and Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for “Ebelebe.”
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 17, 2024, in Kenya.
