A Nigerian wife has reportedly refused to mourn her late husband following his death, saying the sidechic should be the one to mourn him.
The story has drawn widespread attention after surfacing on social media.
According to an anonymous post circulating online, the widow attended her husband’s burial wearing bright red lipstick but left immediately after the ceremony concluded.
She reportedly told family members that the sidechic her husband had been involved with should be the one to mourn him, refusing to honor him herself.
The post read:
“pls how can I get my late brother’s wife to mourn him. This woman came to the burial with pepper red lipstick and immediately they put him in the ground she went back…her excuse is we should get the sidechick he died with to mourn him…we don talk tire.”
