International pop sensation Shakira talked about her love of Afrobeats music and her admiration for two prominent artists in the genre in an interview with Rolling Stone.
She declared her love for South African Grammy winner Tyla and Nigerian musician Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu.
Shakira described her music taste as eclectic, honest, and real, stating that she enjoys any music with an Afrobeats rhythm.
Although she mentioned her appreciation for Tyla, she emphasized her special fondness for Burna Boy.
Shakira said:
“If I could explain my taste in music in three words, I would say eclectic, honest and real. I love anything Afrobeats. I enjoy anything Afrobeats, Burna Boy, and Tyla. However, I adore Burna dearly.
