Veteran singer Paul Okoye, better known by his stage name Rudeboy, has given an explanation for why he no longer keeps up with national affairs.
In a recent interview on Cool FM, the well-known singer was asked what he thought about the current situation in Nigeria.
Rudeboy stated that he has given up on having an opinion on national matters, having last voiced one during the general elections of 2023, which ended in failure.
He also stated that he is building his own country and nothing concerns him with how Nigeria is run.
His words: “I’m sorry. I don’t have any opinion anymore. The last opinion I did was during the election and I am not saying anything anymore. Nothing concern me again. Anyhow wey una wan run the country, make una run am. I’m building my own country myself now.”
