A young boy has gone viral after reportedly turning down a ₦100 Christmas gift, insisting that he would only accept ₦1,000.
Witnesses said the boy’s reaction left family and friends both surprised and amused, sparking jokes online about how money seems to have “lost its value” over the years.
In a now-viral exchange, the boy allegedly told the gift giver, “Me I no dey collect N100, na only 1,000.”
The story quickly gained traction on social media, with users sharing their own experiences of children and their festive gift expectations.
