Following the scandal involving Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, and actress Halima Abubakar, who claimed to have been romantically linked with him, his wife, Dr. Lizzy Johnson Suleiman, has spoken out.
Abubakar and Mr Suleman have been at odds since July 2022 over a love affair that the apostle denies ever occurred.
Among other allegations, the actress claimed Mr Suleman was responsible for an unnamed life-threatening illness that plagued her for years and that he broke his promise to marry her.
The Cleric filed a lawsuit against the ailing actress for character defamation. This did not stop the actress from calling him out on Instagram, claiming they were having an affair.
In the midst of the controversy, Apostle Suleman’s wife has come to his defense.
Mrs Lizzy Johnson stated in a viral video that she was certain he was not involved in everything he was accused of.
She stated that she chose to speak because she knows her husband, with whom she has been married for 19 years.
She claims that in their many years of marriage, she and her husband have never had a disagreement over a woman or extramarital affairs.
Mrs Johnson went on to say that people only want to take advantage of her husband’s generosity.
