The gifted artist Anthony Ebuka Victor, better known by his stage name Victony, has revealed that he is getting ready for his fifth surgery after undergoing four in the hospital following a serious vehicle accident in 2021 that left him unconscious for four days.
It would be remembered that the musician had been injured in an accident and had been confined to a wheelchair until he was able to walk once more.
Victony recently spoke candidly about his ongoing healing process and the numerous surgeries he has had since the accident during the Afroland festival’s Adesope live segment.
He said …
“Honestly, I am blessed and the world can see. I’m still in the recovery phase but I’m still able to do this now. And I’m about to go on tour.
“Considering the previous year, even up until recently, I have undergone four surgeries, and following the tour, I plan to undergo one more. But it’s still a blessing. Going in and out of the hospital.
“I take pain relievers before I go on stage and I still record. I thank God for his grace, it is not by power. I’m not his favourite child so I don’t know why he is blessing me.”
