According to a source who confirmed his death in facebook, he died in his apartment and his body has been deposited in the mortuary.
“Last respect to a legend, OLORO BABA!
With the approval of his daughter, I announce the death of Mr OJO AROWOSAFE, AKA FADEYI OLORO.
“I arrived at his apartment a few minutes past 12pm today, 7th of March to facilitate the completion of the site for Fadeyi Oloro.
“So he could have his own house before he left this world. I was also going to discuss and finalize my plan with him to release a skit to bring him back to the industry.
“I called his phones severally. But no response. I called his daughter on phone. Unfortunately, we found him dead on the couch after breaking into his apartment.”
Born on September 15, 1957, he rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s for his trademarked herbalist persona.
Bayegun Oluwatoyin aka Woli Arole also confirmed his death via his verified Facebook page, sharing his last interview with the veteran and writing:
“So happy I reached out to you sir, so happy we played our part, so happy we laughed together, so happy we were able to show our support.
“Rest in Peace, Fadeyi Oloro”. Let’s check up on people when dey are alive, Let’s show love when people can feel, Let’s help when it can be seen”.
