Disputable critic Verydarkman offers his thoughts as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 is won by South African model Chidimma Adetshina.
Recall that Chidimma had to withdraw from Miss South Africa 2024 due to a number of reasons, and she had to deal with a lot of backlash after that.
However, she emerged victorious over 24 other contestants in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, stirring mixed reactions.
Verydarkman added his voice to the competition’s outcome in a recent video, claiming that Taraba State’s model won out of sympathy rather than merit.
According to the critic, Chidimma does not deserve to have been crowned winner as it diminishes the effort of other contestants who had prepared all year.
“Because the girl get small problem for South Africa, una invite am come Nigeria make she be Miss Universe. How about the people that have been preparing for this thing for a long time? You people gave her by pity and not be merit; this is not fair,” he stated.
Even though Verydarkman is from Nigeria, she was unable to speak the language of the state she represented, and her sole reason for traveling to Nigeria was to address a problem she was having in South Africa.
