Based on CCTV footage, a gadget vendor has set a ₦100,000 reward on a customer who allegedly stole a laptop from his store.
The vendor, @engrdom, shared the incident on TikTok, sharing a video of the suspect sitting calmly in the store.
As everyone else was preoccupied, the man picked up a laptop that was behind him and slipped it into his shirt before vanishing into thin air.
It has been reported that the stolen laptop is valued at several thousand naira.
The vendor claims that it was only while looking for the missing item and watching the CCTV footage that he learned of the theft.
He is now offering a reward of ₦100,000 to anyone with arrest-related information in an effort to apprehend the suspect.
In his words: “This same guy just did the same to one of my colleagues at New BANEX shop B41. We need to look out for this guy. I, Dom-marc, still maintain my ₦100k bounty on his head.”
As the video spread online, concerned Nigerians flooded the comment section to express their outrage and offer support.
